Better Eating, Out

Better Eating, Out - Pro:Kinesis Personal Training, High WycombeEating with friends and family, whether at home or out and about, should be one of the most enjoyable and sociable pleasures in life. However, since many of us try to be very careful about the food they put into their bodies, the idea of eating out where you have less control over the food that’s cooked can be very challenging.

By choosing wisely though, you can still eat out and eat healthily. So here are some general guidelines to help –

– Choose dishes that are not fried or cooked in fat.

– Choose jacket/baked potatoes rather than chips or fries.

– Choose high carbohydrate meals like rice, pasta or noodles.

– Avoid rich and creamy sauces.

– Order salad or vegetables without dressings.

– Eat rolls etc. without the butter

– Try (and I mean really try!) to avoid creamy desserts and cheeses.

Additionally, you might find it helpful to try using these specific tips based on restaurant type.
