Everyone knows that enough exercise is good for fitness levels and your body, but other than being heavier on the scales than you’d want to be, not many people realise what the true cost of a lack of exercise is.
Well, let me give you a quick taster –
Without exercise your muscles atrophy becoming weaker and your joints tighten. Ordinary reaching and bending becomes uncomfortable, while balance and coordination become increasingly difficult. Lack of exercise also causes your bones to deteriorate, allowing them to become brittle and prone to fractures. You get out of breath quicker, your body feels sluggish and toxins accumulate resulting in diseases being more likely to develop and take hold.
